I really wish I knew why almost every night after I have been asleep for about an hour or so I wake up and can't back to sleep! It is becoming an almost every night thing anymore. So it is either play around on the computer or go watch TV and since there is never anything on this late at night the computer wins. So with Demon the cat using my key board for a pillow here goes my first blog.
I had a very long hot day today. I was standing the flag lines for the 2 Life Flight EMTs that were killed when the chopper they were in crashed while they were on a call. everyone on the chopper were killed. By the time I got home this afternoon I was ringing wet with sweat and dead tired. So you would thing I would have gone to bed and pass out as soon as my head hit the pillow, well no but when I did fall asleep I think it may have been for about an hour.
There is one thing I kind of need to bitch about. It seems to me lately that I have be ready at the drop of a hat to help my friends and family with what every they need me to do. But when I need help for one of them they are all to busy or they tell me they just don't want too. But when I say things like that to them you would think the world is coming to an end. I have night blindness so once in a while the hubby can't go with me and I need someone who can drive me home after the sun goes down. But no one seems to have the time or they tell me I will be fine and to go by myself. So I can't go. I have had to miss a few things I really need and wanted to go to because my needs are not as impotent as everyone else it seems.
A friend of ours and her two sons are moving in with us in about two weeks. Just until she can get some money saved to get a place of their own It is really going to take some adjustment on my part, only because I am always home alone and I have to give up my computer room for the boys to have for a bed room. So since I don't have a lap top anymore ( it died) I won't be able to get on the computer late at night when I can't sleep. I think we are going to move the desk top into our bed room, but If I am on it after the hubby goes to bed the clicking of the keys and mouse always wake him up. The baking of our dogs never seems to wake him though I think that is kind of funny but oh well that's life.
Wow it is almost 2AM and I am still wide awake! Not good I have to drive to Kansas City tomorrow. I hope I can stay awake.
